Easter Island: New knowledge on the origin of the Easter Islanders

Our partners at the Copenhagen based Centre for Geogenetics have recently published proof of Native Americans on the Easter Island between 1280 and 1495 CE! The research is largely based on Explico’s work on the Easter Island.

The paper describes Native American admixture into the Easter Island population dating to 1280–1495 CE. This proves that some of the original Easter Island inhabitants originates from the east, from America, and not only from Polynesia in the west, which has been the official story of Easter Island population”.
